Partiendo de que el programa lo veo enfocado sobre todo a sistemas no-windows (en windows muy pocos instalan otro cliente distinto al oficial), me parece importante ver la licencia.

En el foro del programa lo han preguntado, y el autor está muy lejos de liberarlo (además de cerrar el hilo de malos modos). Ante las preguntas sobre la licencia, ha publicado un modelo:

This is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or an entity), the end user,
and the Author regarding use of the software accompanying this Agreement ("Software").

By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms

En resumen: ni es libre ni tiene visos de serlo, así que yo si usara la red MSN ni me plantearía instalarlo. Allá cada cual.

Sabiendo que TODOS los programas tienen fallos, y sabiendo que YO soy capaz de corregirlos a menos que me lo IMPIDAN... me parece muy bien usar software privativo mientras no me dé NINGUN fallo :D

Ya estamos... oye, por casualidad ¿no serás de ese tipo de personas que se instalan Linux y ya se creen que pueden ir avasallando a todo aquel que usa software propietario por que desde el día en que dejaste Windows el software propietario es un mal que hay que exterminar?

Y por cierto, ya que dices anteponer la libertad ante todo... supongo que no irás al cine, ni verás películas o escucharás canciones propietarias, y por supuesto no verás la televisión o leerás un periódico o una revista, por que todo eso es cultura propietaria ¿o eso no entra por que es más fácil instalar Linux que renunciar a todo eso?

O quizás ni siquiera usas Linux y solo eres un troll con ganas de crear un flame, quien sabe :-\

P.D: ¿Como puedes hablar de libertad cuando estas coartando su libertad de elección al intentar dejarlo en ridículo?

La cosa es sencilla. Uno usa el que le da mejores prestaciones y se ajusta más a sus necesidades. Ahora, si tengo que elegir entre dos programas de caracteristicas similares, elegiré el que sea software libre.
