Yo no hablo de la licencia en sí misma. He enviado una sugerencia al que mantiene el paquete, con mis modificaciones al paquete de mi PC, y me ha contestado:

"No puedes modificar el archivo ldf, léete la licencia." Literal. Yo no he hablado de modificaciones, sino de que no puedo alterar los archivos que utilizo:

A mí cuando me dicen que estoy violando la licencia, me pillo un rebote que salto a leérmela compulsivamente, y efectivamente permite el cambio pero no lo recomienda. Pero yo no quiero utilizar ciertas características de un paquete, y por comodidad lo modifico y lo DISTRIBUYO bajo su nombre original dentro de mi ámbito de trabajo, estoy infringiendo la licencia. La GPL me lo permite (me anima a ello!). Digamos que ahora me explico el retraso en el desarrollo de patrones de guionado para castellano: o lo hace el Maintainer o pasa por su censura. Mis sugerencias han sido pasadas directamente por el forro de los cojones.

Supongo que quien redacto la licencia no tubo en cuenta estos DisMaintainers...

Pero un 'mv' tambien supone ventajas, ya que si pasas un documento a alguien que no sabe de tus modificaciónes va a comerse bastantes errores.
