Although we really like the BSD-like license, we have to recognise the BSD systems that run _part_ of Hotmail don't deserve the same credits.
We ported our VBasic antispam filters to BSD after exhaustive trials in Windows farm, and we realised the the BSD guys didn't implement the VB parser. We've looked through the whole filesystem just to realise that there were no a vbmachine.dll, which pretty dissapointed us.
To solve the problem, we've contracted to some free-lance programmers, who do GPL development in their free time, to develop the interpreter.
Obviously, they didn't have the enough expertise in enterprise-ready software. We apologise for the problems, but I hope you realise these problems are related to these GPL oriented developers.
Again, sorry by the inconveniences. We are studying with our lawers the best way to sue those programmers that caused you troubles with your Hotmail account.
